Frequently Asked Questions
Are virtual consultations right for me?
Virtual consultations are great for women who are always on the
go or cannot get out of the house easily. You can make an
appointment based on your convenience, around your busy
schedule. We will be able to address your unique concerns
because you will be in your own environment. For example, if you
are having back pain while breastfeeding on your couch, we can
discuss ways to reposition for improved ergonomics and comfort.
Many pelvic and women’s health issues can be addressed without
hands-on treatment. You will be notified if it is recommended
that you receive in-person care.
Do I need a referral from my physician?
Comprehensive Pelvic Health has direct access licensing, so you
do not need a physician’s referral. If it is determined that you
require further medical follow-up, you will be provided with
recommendations.
Do you accept insurance?
Comprehensive Pelvic Health LLC is an out-of-network provider
with all insurance companies. This allows for the highest
quality of patient care. Payment is due at time of service
(cash, check, or Venmo). Some insurance companies do reimburse
for virtual physical therapy sessions. If you wish to know your
level of out-of-network reimbursement, it is your responsibility
to contact your insurance provider. Upon request, a superbill or
itemized bill to submit to your insurance company can be
provided. It is the sole responsibility of the patient to
complete all inquiries and claim submissions to insurance
providers.
